Utaite is is a Japanese term for people who cover previously released songs and post them on Nico Nico Douga and Youtube; under utattemita category. Basically , they are singers who make covers of songs.
There are also some utaites that sing as their opposite gender .For example if the utaite is a boy , he will use a girls voice (from his own) to make covers , the same goes goes for the opposite gender . These people are called trap singers (or ryouseirui ).
